As you know if you read my blog I’m a big fan of Mint Velvet. They make clothes that are ideal for someone like me; they are classic but not boring, practical but not mumsy. Perfect for working mums who need to look smart for work but also want to take the kids to school. I recently splurged on some jeans and tops as part of my Mummy Reward Chart.
This weekend I tried out the Anisa Print Dress, I was borrowing a press sample which was unfortunately a bit big so the pictures of it on me won’t do it justice (sorry!) but here’s a picture from the website. She’s far younger than me, so it looks as it’s meant to.
Here’s a few things I liked about it:
- the print is beautiful, very delicate flowers on a white background
- as with all Mint Velvet it’s wonderfully understated, with part cut away panels at the arms making it a bit different
- it’s above the knee so it shows off a tan very well!
- pretty organza fabric with a soft lining, it feels very luxurious and special
You can find it here, along with all the other gorgeous dresses that I covet.
